WHO WE ARE
Formed in 1967, The New York State Association of Traffic Safety Boards (NYSATSB) is a statewide association of county traffic safety boards, state and federal agencies, highway engineers, safety professionals, corporations, and individuals who are dedicated to crash avoidance and injury prevention.

MEMBERSHIP
Membership in NYSATSB provides direct access to all the key traffic safety contacts throughout New York State and referrals nationwide. The Association is also allied with the New York State Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee, the Institute for Traffic Safety Management & Research (ITSMR), and the national safety associations of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Governors Highway Safety Association (GHSA) & Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
NYSATSB members and their representatives are able to participate in all traffic safety initiatives and special events on a local, regional or statewide basis.
NYSATSB is organized into eight regions across New York State each with a Vice President who serves as a liaison between traffic safety partners and the Association.
The Association coordinates grant funding, proposes traffic safety legislation, and offers traffic safety resources and education programs.
